Responsibilities:

• Handle backend tasks for a growing SAAS product, design and implement the architecture, along with maintenance and monitoring.
• Take ownership over features.
• Collaborate with product managers to refine product requirements.
• Be a source of knowledge for junior engineers.
• Build APIs and background services, including:
• Integrating with external platforms.
• Scraping and analyzing content from the web.
• Integrating with internal machine learning services.
• APIs to be used by external customers.

lifications:

• 5+ years of industry experience in a production web environment, including monitoring and performance tuning.
• 3+ years of experience with Python/Node/Go/Ruby for a Linux environment.
• Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases. (Advantage)
• Experience with AWS. (Advantage)
• Experience with Docker, K8s, scale. (Advantage)
• A real passion for solving problems and delivering value.
• The ability to write clean code, as well as continuously refactor and improve existing code.
• The ability to work well autonomously and as part of a team.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
