Job Summary

The Field Service and Warehouse Specialist is responsible for overseeing field operations and warehouse management in CA. Reporting to the Global Operations Manager, this role collaborates with various teams, such as Operations, R&D, Research, and Sales. The Field Service and Warehouse Specialist will be the on-site point of contact for logistics, operations, and perform basic field tasks in CA.

Essential Functions

  • Identify and implement new tools and technologies in collaboration with the Operations manager to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams on hardware field experiments.
  • Warehouse Management - Manage inventory, manage in-out shipments, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment. Oversee the testing, maintenance, and repair of equipment in the warehouse.
  • Manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, including customer communication, documentation, and internal coordination.
  • Personally execute the 3R process (Refurbish-Recycle-Reuse), testing returned products, performing battery replacements, and skillfully repackaging them for recycling or reuse.
  • Manage field operations projects, including end-of-life (EOL) initiatives and battery replacements.
  • Perform basic field tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in operations or project management.
  • Bachelor's degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Experience working with global organizations and familiarity with regional cultures.
  • Strong understanding of field operations principles, such as production planning, purchasing, forecasting, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in software packages, including ERP systems, Microsoft Office, project management tools, and Salesforce.
  • Ability to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl, ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Must hold a valid US driver’s license
  • Valid CA forklift license (or willingness to get one)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with remote management and staff.
  • Experience in startup environments is advantageous.
  • Agricultural background is a plus.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Perform basic field tasks as needed.
  • Working permit in the US.

The hourly range for this position is $20.00 to $30.00
