Your Mission
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be at the core of Canopy’s data-driven approach to oncology care. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that fuel our analytics and AI-driven decision support tools. By ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and efficiency of our data infrastructure, your work will enable smarter, more proactive care for cancer patients. This role is ideal for someone who is excited about working with large datasets, optimizing data architectures, and leveraging AI to improve healthcare outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Develop & Optimize Data Pipelines – Design robust, scalable data services to support AI-driven analytics and decision-making.
- Enhance Data Flow – Ensure seamless messaging and integration across multiple systems and platforms.
- Monitor & Debug – Identify and resolve data pipeline issues proactively, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- Leverage AI & Big Data – Implement AI-driven solutions to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with product managers, engineers, and healthcare professionals to ensure data solutions meet real-world needs.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in backend/data engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
- Expertise in Big Data technologies (Spark, Snowflake, Airflow).
- Cloud platform experience (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
