We are growing and looking for a talented and experienced Engineering Manager to join us. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for driving the development of high-impact features that increase customer satisfaction, engagement, and enjoyment of our product. The team focuses on highly requested features and enhancements that improve the everyday experience for the majority of our members.
We are looking for someone with a "can-do" attitude who is motivated by customers' feedback and inspires their team to think creatively and find simple solutions to complex problems.
Here are a few of the things you will do:
- Lead a team responsible for shaping, designing, and improving key features our members use daily.
- Be the direct manager of the engineers on the team, foster personal and team growth, collaboration, and a positive work environment.
- Facilitate and enable the team execution, delivery, and quality, emphasizing continuous improvement to ensure we consistently raise the bar.
- Work closely with the PM to create the squad’s roadmap, define goals, and measure success based on member feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including member-facing teams, Product, Research, etc to deliver features that delight our users.
- Inspire the team to tackle challenges creatively and simply, always aiming for efficient and elegant solutions.
Interested? Here's what we're looking for:
- 8+ years of experience in engineering, with a full-stack development background.
- 3+ years as an Engineering Manager, with proven success in leading teams and delivering high-quality projects.
- Impact-driven mindset, with a strong focus on creating value for users and improving satisfaction.
- Experience in building and maintaining products end-to-end, from ideation through production, including technical research, deployment, and monitoring.
- Creative problem solver who can break down complex requirements into simple, actionable tasks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical and strategic information across teams.
- Leadership qualities that foster a positive team culture, inspire collaboration, and maintain a “can-do” attitude.
- Experience with scaling teams, nurturing talent, and maintaining high-quality standards during growth phases.
