The role includes:

Payroll Management

  • Oversee and process end-to-end monthly payroll for Israel, including submission of tax forms (101, 102, 106, 126, 161) and generation of payroll journal entries.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor, tax, and social security laws including Bituach Leumi, Kupot Gemel, and reserve army service reporting.
  • Act as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Liaise with insurance and pension providers to maintain coverage and regulatory alignment.

Bookkeeping & Financial Operations

  • Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R): invoice entry, payment processing, and vendor reconciliation.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and cash flow updates.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities in collaboration with the local Controller and global Finance team.
  • Maintain orderly financial records, ensuring audit readiness and compliance with internal policies and local regulations.

Systems & Reporting

  • Use NetSuite ERP to record and manage financial transactions and support reporting needs.
  • Leverage Microsoft Excel for reconciliations, reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Operate Michpal Payroll Software for payroll processing (experience required).

Qualifications

  • Certified Payroll Professional with 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience in Israel.
  • Certified Bookkeeper, minimum Level 2.
  • Strong understanding of Israeli payroll and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Michpal and Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite ERP – strong advantage.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a high level of organizational discipline.

Must be able to work in-office 2–3 days per week.
