In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work in the exciting and rapidly evolving generative AI space, designing, building, and maintaining the server-side logic for our cutting-edge software. As our Backend Engineer, you'll be proficient in Python , with a deep understanding of server-side logic, high-level data structures, and algorithms. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Develop and maintain various APIs used by our frontend team.
• Explore new AI technologies and research how they impact the customer experience
• Own the applications end to end, from coding to production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product designers to understand end-user requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer in Python .
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Flask/Django for Python ans AWS serverless/ K8s.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and databases.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Strong unit testing and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Interest or experience in AI or generative AI technologies is a strong plus.
