Description
Balance is a fast-growing B2B payments startup revolutionizing how businesses offer net terms and credit lines. Our AI-powered payments platform enables companies to automate and scale their credit and payment operations, making B2B transactions as seamless as consumer payments.
This role combines strategic public relations expertise, corporate communications skills, and dynamic marketing instincts to craft impactful narratives and deliver standout campaigns over defined periods.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive PR and communications strategy aligned with Balance’s brand vision and business objectives
- Lead the development and execution of cross-channel communications programs, including thought leadership, media relations, executive presence
- Source and develop powerful narratives for diverse stakeholders, including customers, investors and partners. Work across the organization to identify compelling data and storylines
- Manage media list and pitch top-tier business, tech, and industry reporters to boost brand visibility.
- Analyze and report back on media coverage, audience reach, and sentiment, and adjust strategies to ensure impactful results
- Stay informed on industry trends to adapt and evolve Balance communications approach
- Support executives in building external profiles through speaking, media, and bylined opportunities, including prep and briefings.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to create blogs, campaign messaging and other assets that are clear, concise and effectively land our story with external audiences.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in B2B SaaS communications with strong familiarity of the Fintech space
- Exceptionally strong writing, editing, and speaking skills
- Demonstrated experience using current MarTech tools and platforms
- Excellent problem-solving and project prioritization skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide strategic insight
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- A creative, strategic thinker with a passion for building brand momentum.
