Description
Balance is building the financial infrastructure behind modern B2B commerce.
We’re looking for a Content & Social media manager who thinks like a media builder and creates like a top-tier creator.
You will build and run Balance’s content strategy and operation across the full funnel. You’ll define our voice, create recognizable formats, grow our audience, and tie everything we ship to clear business outcomes.
You bring strong editorial judgment, technical fluency in content creation, and deep comfort with AI-powered creation. You know where the best content is being made today and why it works. You’re strategic, but also hands-on.
Responsibilities
Content:
- Create High-Impact Content that informs, entertains, and converts.(Hands-On)
- Build an AI-powered content engine including short- and long-form videos, blogs, white papers, and other key assets.
- Work closely with designers on visual assets.
- Partner with executives, product leaders, and subject-matter experts to translate internal expertise into compelling public narratives.
Social media:
- Define and scale Balance’s voice and editorial standards Make Balance’s voice unmistakable in fintech and B2B commerce.
- Own and manage social media engagement and growth across various social media platforms. (hands on)
- Monitor conversations, surface insights, and feed them back to Product and Marketing.
Requirements
- 3+ years in B2B content or social roles (fintech preferred)
- Strong portfolio of social and video work
- Excellent writing, storytelling and video editing skills
- Deep understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, and virality
- Expert-level comfort with generative AI tools
- Data-driven and highly organized
- Highly organized and able to run multiple projects end-to-end.
- Native English (required)
- U.S./Canada market experience preferred
